Make sure to explore the epic Jagungal Wilderness at least once in your lifetime—sweeping alpine plans, iconic mountain huts and the omnipresent Mount Jagungal. Hiking the trail anti-clockwise allows you to ease into it, starting at the Round Mountain hut carpark, then hiking to Dershcko’s Hut, before summiting Mount Jagungal on your way through to O’Keefe’s Hut. The final stretch along Farm Ridge Trail is iconic, with sweeping Scottish Highland views over Tumut River.
