Cape Le Grand National Park on the coastline east of Esperance has sheltered coves, rolling heathland and towering granite peaks. A steep climb to the 262 metre summit of Frenchman Peak provides panoramic views across aquamarine bays fringed by dazzling white beaches and the islands of the Recherche Archipelago. This trail and many others in the park display a variety of wildflowers, prolific from July to late October.
