East Mount Barren Track, Western Australia.

This is a relatively challenging steep climb up the quartzite and schist peak. The view is across the jagged Barrens to the west, the wild Southern Ocean and over Culham Inlet to the east. On the way up pass through mallee heath with banksia and myrtle. Higher up the flora is endemic to the Fitzgerald River National Park and include Barrens regalia and vibrant jug flowers.
