Moderate

We love escaping to the Prom in summer. Its iconic white sandy beaches and sensual granite outcrops always beckon on hot days. It is famed for its overnight hikes to Sealers Cove and Waterloo Bay. Then there are the lesser-known day hikes. We trekked into Fairy Cove from Darby River on a howling southerly to find a sheltered beach. The walk out via Sparkes Lookout to Darby Saddle is testing and spectacular.
