This part of the NSW coast is famed for its pristine surf beaches. And the dramatic easterly headland also delivers a variety of walks. There is the Treachery Headland track through coastal rainforest, up a grassy knoll with sweeping views and a sidetrack down to the ocean beach. Plus, you can walk from Boat Beach to the lighthouse at Sugarloaf Point to view migrating humpback whales and an Australian fur seal colony on the rocky outcrop.
