The Spit Track passes some classic Tassie shacks and is part of the Clarence Coastal Trail. The path loops around the peaceful hamlet of Cremorne following Pipe Clay Lagoon and returning along the beach on Frederick Henry Bay. The Paredarerme people of the Oyster Bay Nation seasonally sourced seafood along the coast. There is a variety of birdlife including Double Banded Plover and White Breasted Sea Eagle.
