  • Time: 2 hour hike
  • Terrain: Road
  • Traditional Custodians: Djabwurung
Moderate

The steep walk up a sealed service road to the 1167 metre summit of Mt William (Duwil) provides sweeping vistas across The Grampians. Best at sunrise or sunset. Tall eucalypts at lower altitudes give way to stunted scrub, then sub-alpine vegetation. The Grampians National Park is part of the Gariwerd Aboriginal cultural landscape and the location for the largest number of significant aboriginal rock art and shelters in southern Australia.
