A beach to rival a tropical island but nestled deep in the mountains at the bottom of the world, Lake Rhona is a superb entry point into the wilds of south-west Tasmania.

There’s a place in Tasmania’s south-west, talked about in hiking circles as one of the true wilderness gems.
