Hard

Views of the towering jagged peaks of the Warumbungles are the spectacular reward for this challenging hike. The track follows Spirey Creek and in spring there is an abundance of wildflowers including orange pea flowers, purple hooves and white daisy. Wedgetail eagles circle on the updrafts and you may hear the screech of peregrine falcons. The Warumbungle National Park is ideal for camping under the stars and amateur astronomy.
