Surf Coast Reef Walk, Victoria.

  • Location: Victoria
  • Distance: 3 kilometres
  • Time: 2 hour hike
  • Terrain: Beach / Reef
  • Traditional Custodians: Gadubanud
Moderate

This is a cakewalk – you need all the ingredients in the mix; low tide, minimal to zero swell, northerly wind, bathers. Head west from Spout Creek towards Lorne and follow the cliff across a sedimentary, mudstone reef until you reach some deep gullies in the shelf. And a tip: throw in a mask and snorkel because there’s another world beyond the ledge. This walk will resonate with you for days.

Acknowledgement of Country
