A walk with a swim midway is always memorable. From the Resolute picnic ground in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, head through sclerophyll forest to a sheltered sandy beach. After a refreshing dip the track leads up to West Head with panoramic views out to Barrenjoey and across Pittwater. The track loops on past significant Aboriginal rock art at Red Hands Cave.
