Mt Sturgeon Track, Victoria.

Just out of Dunkeld in western Victoria is a reasonably strenuous hike commencing through open woodland and climbing to the 552 m peak of Mt Sturgeon (Wurgarri) in the south of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park. From the summit sweeping views are across the vast basalt plain to the south and east and Victoria Valley to the north west.
