Mt Mitchell Trail, Queensland.

Located in the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area – renowned for its evolutionary history and biodiversity. A steady climb amongst woodland and on through montane heath takes you to the West Peak. Peregrines may be observed riding thermals way overhead. The views down to the valleys and nearby mounts are spectacular. Cross the saddle and on to the 1175 m East Peak for a picnic before descending.
