A predawn walk inland from Ningaloo Reef’s World Heritage-listed coast leads you along the ancient bed of the Mandu Mandu Gorge. Black-footed rock wallabies can be seen bounding up the sheer limestone walls. The gorge is a microcosm of flora and fauna. High on Cape Range, the sun rises across the vast interior and the coral lagoon way below comes to life in deep hues of blue.
