Easy

This easy walk just off the Lyell Highway 60 km before Queenstown from Derwent Bridge plunges you into a cool temperate rainforest of myrtle and sassafras and is a good leg stretcher on the drive to the West Coast from Hobart. In late summer strolling through the mossy forest along the fast flowing Franklin and Surprise river banks you may note the sweet fragrance of the flowering Leatherwood.
