Mt Strzelecki is the iconic hike on the island. From this 782-metre summit, the view to the south is across the Furneaux Group to Tasmanian mountains in the distance. Spectacular walks are also on offer around Mount Killiecrankie in the north, with a feed of abalone and crays available from the aquamarine bay at the end of the trek.
