The chasm walk is a highlight of the Purnululu National Park and showcases the spectacular World Heritage listed Bungle Bungle sedimentary rock formations. It is best walked around midday with the sun overhead for the best effect as the 200 metre high gorge walls light up dramatically. Way up high Livistona palms can be seen atop the sandstone domes.
