  • Distance: 9 kilometres
  • Time: 5 hour hike
  • Terrain: Track / Rock

Hard

A more family friendly hike in the Flinders Range than Wilpena Pound and still providing rewarding views. Heading through the Bunyeroo Formation shales and on through a tributary of the Wilcolo Creek, large river red gums indicate the depth of the water source. Further east is open woodland of cypress pine before a climb to the lookout with views of Wilpena Pound to the south.
